This past weekend, Curaçao once again became the stage for one of the Caribbean’s most anticipated cultural events: the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. From Thursday to Saturday, Piscadera Bay transformed into a meeting point for global stars, unforgettable performances, and an audience that came ready to celebrate music in all its forms.
Thursday opened with salsa icon Gilberto Santa Rosa and the irresistible funk of Kool & The Gang, setting the tone for three days of high-energy performances. On Friday, the festival came alive with the passion of Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo, the soulful voice of Kandace Springs, and chart-topping sets by Ne-Yo and Ricky Martin, alongside Paul Carrack, Ryan Castro, and the legendary Sheila E. with her band The E-Train. Saturday brought an explosive finale: from the Cuban rhythms of Cimafunk and the virtuosity of Cory Henry and Gonzalo Rubalcaba with Hamilton de Holanda, to Jacob Collier’s boundary-pushing jazz, Koffee’s reggae energy, and unforgettable headliners Snoop Dogg and Tems.
The setting of Piscadera Bay, with its tropical backdrop and professional staging, gave every performance a sense of magic. As in previous years, WAVE7 Creatives had the honor of capturing the festival through the lens, commissioned by the Curaçao Tourist Board. Our images reflect the atmosphere, diversity, and pure energy that made this edition so memorable.
The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival 2025 once again confirmed its status as a world-class event. For WAVE7, it was more than photography—it was about preserving the spirit of three nights where music and culture came together in unforgettable harmony. Explore more of CNSJ in the festival portfolio.
